        CONSTITUTION AND NATURE

   1. The  Association  shall  be  called “ The  Carmel  Garden

       Matriculation  Higher  Secondary  School Parent-Teacher

       Association”. The  Association  will  be  purely  educational , 

       non-commercial, non-sectarian and  non-political. It  shall not 

       seek to  interfere in the  administrative affairs  of  the  School.

                                         OBJECTIVES

  2.       a) To  promote the  welfare  of  the  children  in  the school

            b) To  maintain  better  understanding between  parents and 

      teachers.

c) To  create  the  necessary awareness  among  parents  to

     take  interest in their  children and  the  school.

d) To  work  for the  improvement of  the school  with  the

     united  efforts of  parents,  teachers and  school  authorities.

                               ACTIVITIES

 3. a)  To arrange for  periodic general  meetings where  parent-

           teachers consultations are possible in  a  group as well  as 

           individually.

b) To  arrange    i.  social get-together   ii.  Recreational 

     programmes   and  iii. Seminars for both parents and   

     teachers.

c) Any other  activity  that  is  conducive  to  the  development

    of  the  School

                                          MEMBERSHIP

  4. All the  parents  of  the  students   on the  rolls of  the  school 

      register shall  be the  members. All  the  teachers  of  the  school

      also  will  be the members of  the  Association.
