Master S.Ravi was selected for TamilNadu State team and participated in National Basketball Tournament in the year 1979-80.

Master Manoj Kumar bagged the winners title in the 1980 National Tennis Tournament for boys under 14 and was ranked No.2 in the National Level. Master Sri Hari was ranked No.7 in the same event

Subsequently in 1986, Master Manoj Kumar represented India in Asian Games Tennis and in 1987 he played in the World University Tennis Tournament, during his college days...

In TamilNadu-Pondicherry State Matriculation Sports Meet, Master Tharanipathy-Rajkumar won III place in 200 m; 100 m and Broad Jump; Master Gunasekaran won Third place in High Jump in 1982-83.

Montford Hr. Sec. School, Yercaud conducted a State-level Tennis Tournament for boys under 18 yrs in 1986. Master Yogananth, bagged the winners trophy and Master Yogananth and Master Anandaraghavan were the winners in Doubles. Master Anoor Mahendra Manradiar won the winners cup in the same Tournament for boys under 14 yrs.

St.Joseph's Hr. Sec. School, Coonoor, conducted Centenary State Level Tennis Tournaments for boys under 18 yrs in 1987. Master Yogananth and Master Biswath won the Doubles. In the same Tournament for boys under 14 yrs,
    -   Master Anoor Mahendra Manradiar won the Singles Title.
    -   Master Anoor Mahendra Manradiar and Master Vivekananta came as winners in the Doubles.

Kodai International School, Kodaikanal conducted State Level Tennis Tournament in 1987 for boys under 14 yrs. Master Anoor Mahendra Manradiar came as runner-up and Master Yogananth and Master Anand Raghavan were the Runners up in Doubles.

Master Janarthanan Lingaswahar was selected for National Talent Contest in Hockey and participated in National Hockey Tournament in 1987-88.

Masters Subramaniam, Kumar and Viji Vinayak participated in South State Table Tennis Tournament for Schools, conducted by Tata Tea Company, Munnar, Table Tennis Club and bagged winners up in the year 1988-89.

Viruthunagar K.V.Sala Hr. Sec. School conducted State level Basketball Tournament in 1989-90. Our School Team bagged Runners up.

In 1990, P.S.G Sports Club conducted Open Schools Basketball tournament, our School Team came as winners.

Master Giridharan, Master Muralidharan and Master Arun Kumar were selected for Junior State Basketball team and they participated in Interstate Basketball Tournaments in the year 1990-91.

Master Joseph Xavier Robert was selected for Junior TamilNadu State Basketball team and he participated in National Tournament in the year 1991-92.

St.Lawrence School, Lovedale, Ooty conducted South State Basketball Tournament in 1991, and our School team won III place.

In the Republic day Tournaments in 1996-97, Master Venkatraman won the Singles Title in State Level Table Tennis Tournaments and he came as Runner up in the same in 1997-98. He also won the Singles-Winner Title in the Bharathiar Day Table-Tennis State Level Tournaments in 1998-99.

Master Gnanavel was selected for TamilNadu Basketball Team and he played for National Tournament in the year 2003-04

Master Anirudh was selected for Sub-Junior Basketball team and he played for National Tournament in the year 2003-04.

Master K.S.Peter was selected by the TamilNadu State Sports Development Authority for State Coaching Camp. (World Wide Sports Scheme) in the year 2003-04.

In the year 2003-04, Salem District Chess Association conducted State Level Mini Chess Tournament, Master R.Ganesh came as winner up. He also participated in the International Chess Tournament and played against players from Srilanka, South Africa and Uspekisthan in Calicut in July 2004.
